Hello all, New member here....I have a 04 f250 SD 4x4....pics to come soon....I have one question, the auto door locks work on all 4 doors except for the drivers side...keyless or by hitting the switch on the door....is that gonna be in the door or is there a fuse that might be out....im new to the sd world especially diesel so forgive me if i have to ask some ignorant questions...ive worked on gas burners for years so im making a step up in the world into unknown waters as far as the motor goes....thanks in advance for any help...
thanks for the quick response...im sorry but i actually told you wrong...the drivers side doors front and back neither work...passenger side both work....so would it be both actuators?
Probably. They all tie into the same fuse, so if the fuse goes than none of them would work.
I had 2 dead, drivers rear and passenger front. And when I say dead, I mean DEAD! No movement, no click, no anything. I followed the direction on the write ups and video, now all 4 doors work. Took me less than 2 hours and cost me nothing except 3 cents worth of aluminum foil.
Ford door actuators are apparently notorious for this.
