97 E4OD

I got a 97 F-250 with a E4OD and I got a over temp code today my trans has never gone above 190 what temP does that code set at or is there something that can go wrong and set that code

That code means the TFT (Transmission Fluid Temperature) sensor read over 270°F. If the trans didn't really get that hot it means the sensor is starting to fail. As long as you have a gauge I'd ignore this until it does it more often. For now clear the code and see if it comes back.
