Unhappy Help with pilot bearing

I have a 92 Ford Ranger, 5 speed, with a double 4 engine. Here is my problem... I have dropped the driveshaft, transmission, clutch and flywheel. My pilot bearing had completely blown up in the whole thing. The problem is that it left the outer core stuck in the crankshaft. How do I remove it. Tried the pullers with no luck. Last option is to find someone with a Dremel and try to remove it that way. But it seems to have welded itself to the crankshaft. Is there anyway to remove it without having to replace the crankshaft? I am desperate considering this is my only vehicle and I really need it to get back and forth to work...

The best sucess I have found at work is to mig weld a bolt to it very carefully and use a slide hammer on the bolt. Always keep plenty of water available to keep the heat from getting too hot. you dont want to heat the crank too much. good luck.
