Hey everyone, I am planning on changing my factory auto hubs with a set of warn muanual hubs on the truck in my signature. It has the Dana 44 TTB front axle. The auto hubs have five bolts on the caps. Are there any speicial tools I need to switch them to manual hubs ? I have a nice set of hand tools to use for this. I just want to get all my ducks in a row before i tackle this project. Any information would be appreciated.
Its pretty straight forward. You need some snap ring pliers, a small bladed screwdriver or pick, and the bit to remove the hub "cap". A magnet can help sometimes to remove the spacer washers.
