Evan have you pulled that TC out to see if you can find a brand name or anything?
I pulled it out but can't find a name on it. Has "E4OD" and some other numbers. Other than that just black...

I drive nice as I don't want to spend that big money now either, first of all, don't have it!!
I've managed to hold my stock ford reman together for the 30k miles I've put on it. It had about 5k on it when I bought it. I'm nice to it most of the time but I do get in it every once in a while. I'm hoping to do some occasional bracket racing and maybe a amateur sled pull once or twice a year.
I had one of my employee's build the trans since he worked in a Trans shop for quite a few years as well as Ford. He was much more familiar with them. Other wise I would have done it but who know how that would have turned out.
All my parts came from Racer X. I had the X6TC, new modded pump, Red Eagle friction/steel and seal kit, New bearings and bushings, and one of the shafts that I broke. Total was was about $1,700 in parts. I had shift kit parts from before I broke it so I didn't do a valve body.
