I think the only bracket you need is the ones that are attached to the lights in the ebay pic. This thread has the info you need, just look at the pics in there, including near the bottom of the thread.
ok, cool. I did a search for "foglights" and didnt see that thread.
anyway, I just checked my truck again and found the attaching holes are already there, in the bumper. now I just need to order the lights, bolt them on, wire them up and I am good to go.
Fog lights showed up last week sometime. Since my truck did not come with fog lights from the factory, I ordered the attaching bolts from my local Ford dealer. I installed the lights today, it was fairly straight forward.
when I install the radio, next month, I will pull the dash trim and mount the on/off switch permenantly.
this is the part# for the top (long) bolts you need to hold the light to the bumper.
if my lowbeams are on, the foglights are on. I've been driving with foglights on for so long that I feel like something is wrong when driving and they are off.
get you some HID's in them and see how much brighter they are lol, i jus recently put 6k Hids in my headlights and 3k Hids in my fogs (yellow) and i light the road up nicely for everyone lol

Same here. I drive with my high beams on during the day, and low with fog at night.
Not to hijack, what year did they start fog lights? I have any early 99 and don't have any, nor do I have any mounting holes in the bumper. Can I add factory ones to my truck or not? I have seen a factory kit from ford on eBay that comes with mounting brackets and round Hella fog lights, but I still don't know if they will mount up?

well Poop... Fog light stopped working already. I suspect the cheap relay that came with the kit is dead.
how do I wire them into low beams as you mentioned?
I am wondering if getting a factory headlight switch with Fog lamps might be cleaner/easier?
if I were you I would go with the factory switch, much cleaner, thats what I'm about to do with mine that i just ordered. if i"m not mistakin, there is already a harness wired in for the fog lights that just hang out if not used in the front bumper area, right? hope so getting tired of hard wiring everything in...
but, much more expensive. Ford thinks those things are made of solid gold. I've seen them run from $50-150 USED.
go to your auto parts store and pick up a $5 relay. find which wire is the low beam power wire (sorry, don't have my wire diagram nearby or I'd tell you).
splice into that wire and use it as the trigger for the relay. then run a wire from battery with it's own seperate fuse (10 amp should be good...maybe 15) to the relay itself. run wire from outlet poles of relay to foglights.
this is a few yrs old. but works.
pretty easy. every time you turn on the lowbeams, the relay will be triggered and power the fogs. trigger wire is low draw so no effect on light operation. the seperate power wire for fogs isolates them from rest of truck in case you break them or short them out
edit: oh yeah, and make sure they relay is facing with the pins towards the ground. then wrap it with electrical tape. if you leave it facing upwards, water will collect and then short it out
