I needed to move the harness that connects the temp sensor near the water pump so I could get the small plate off to remove the bolt for the hpop gear. My problem is that when I pulled the plug off the sensor part of the plug stayed on the sensor( from corrosion), and I need to find a new end so I can hook my guage up again. Does anyone have an idea where to get the 90 degree plug for the temp sensor, or any solutions to fix my problem. Thanks for the help.
That happened to me when i was helping my brother change the water pump on his 95 psd. What i did i took a plug in off my parts bronco sensor and sliced it in to that wire with a shrinkable butt connector. Still working after 2 months now
I would do the same thing with splicing in another harness but I don't have a spare parts truck, but glad that worked for you
It sucks when you try pluging it back on and it won't stay in place
thanks for the feedback... the other night I was going through some misc machine screws and nuts and found one that went on the stud and used a ring terminal like you said madpogue and thanks for the offer fordpride but I am going to hold off for now because the fix turned out good and I think it will last just a long as factory, but thanks.
