400 water temp sensor

Well finally got my holley F.I. for my 400. Got to putting it together and had to stop at the temp wiring. Where can I put another sensor at? I put the new one in the stock place but I need a place to put my guage sendor. I was going to t it in but then read that it isn't accurate doing this. I thought about then putting it inline with my heater hose and was told that this wasn't accurate either. I was then going to put it in the place where there is a plug on my water pump but just broke my allen wrench trying to remove the plug. So where can I put my sensor at without having to do anything difficult like drilling a hole in my block. Thanks for any help
Richard

Good Chance that that plug in the water pump has some type of locktight on it .. my have to heat it up a little.
And if it comes down to it you could always drill out that plug and then chase the threads ....

I put an extra temp sensor in the water neck on my 400, of course it wont read until the thermostat opens, but at least I will know if it doesn't open.
