Drain the oil to pull the sensor?
So before I get yelled at for not searching, I did, a lot... and I couldn't find exactly what I need.
My question is do I need to drain the oil to pull the oil pressure sensor? I'm putting in a T-fitting and would prefer it if I didn't have several quarts of oil drain onto my face. I've seen guys suggest that the oil should be sitting in the pan and not be up that high, which makes some sense I suppose, but I have no idea if it's true or not. So...any ideas? I'd rather not drain my oil and put it back in 10min later when it wasn't even in the way to begin with. Thanks
