My one piece headlights came in the other day and i went to put them on today and i found this
this is the old headlight notice the location of the big adjuster i tryed unscrewing the long adjuster but it wouldn't come out is there something im doing wrong or does the adjuster go some were other than the stock location?
Hmm I wanna say those are like ball and socket fittings were you have to pull really hard. But id make sure first I could be completely wrong and then you'd hate me.
And FYI, the things are screw in type....Use a set of needle nose style pliers or the sort to GENTLY remove it....Otherwise you'll fugg the threads up...
THe little 2-piece plastic "Box" that holds the gear/rods together for them to mesh, and therefore adjust the headlight IS VERY VERY VERY BRITTLE....
And from experience, once it's "Broken" or a better way of saying it is :
The little tincy wincy tabs that hold it together are popped apart.....It's automatically a POS then...They never seem to hold together the same again....And then results in a floppy headlight....
Mine flops about 1/4" while driving....I simply live with it till I can afford the 1 pc headlight/park lights....
where the bolts attach to the housing, you can twist a little bowtie looking thing gently one way or the other and the bolt assembly with pop out and you can swap them
