Shifter Cable
I have a 2003 F150 super crew 4X4. The problem that i have is that the shifter moves around freely and to start the truck i have to put it in N it will not start in P. So now i am at a loss of what to do. Any help would be nice. Thanks

Most likely one of two things, the shift linkage may have loosened up and needs to be tightened, second is it broke at some point. Had it happen to mine several years ago parked once and then couldn't put it back into park after wards and it flopped around, turned out it was all loose that fast.
