[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Oct-02 AT 03:29 PM (EST)]the other day i headed off to pick my buddy up for skewl when some ********* ran a stop sign and my backpack slammed into my dash. it didnt do any damage at 1st but it was extremelty cold (around 30) and when i jumped in to go home i noticed it was all cracked . so what are my options, its the padded part near the cd player on a 93 f-150...i need to know ASAP b4 it gets worse and its a horrible eyesore...thanx in advance
Just had mine apart for different reasons. That little pad is held on by approx ten nuts on studs from behind the dash. You'll have to pull the radio and glove box to get to them. Just need to get a new pad and dig in.
Mine has split too. If you find a part# or a place to get one, let me know. Also, I'm looking for a couple of A/C vents to replace these broke ones (kids).
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Dec-02 AT 01:32 AM (EST)]I just ordered one for my '96, it's formally known as a 'crash pad'. My local dealer wouldn't budge on the price, but these guys gave me wholesale over the phone.
