4" lift question
I'm rebuilding my '79 F250 from the ground up. I got the axles done and frame painted. Next I'm going to order a new 4'' lift Rough Country suspension. What will I need to change from stock? Drop pitman arm or drag link? Will my old drive shafts still work? Anything else I should plan for?

If you are planing on keeping this truck I'd get Sky Jackers springs for the front, more money but a much better spring. You will need to address the shocks & brake lines. I'd get the drop drag link and go from there. You may need a steering block or a drop drag link to go with it or consider a cross over system. The front drive shaft will be too short, out at the end if it will even make it. The same with the rear it will be clear out at the end of the splines. Rear E brake cables will make it.

I was planning on raising my f150 only about 2 inches. Will that alter my driveshaft enought for me to do anything to it? I was gonna add new shocks, longer springs, and add one leaf spring per side.

I jacked my 79 150 4inch with blocks in the rear and for the front
i unbolted the spring towers and moved them down and they
bolted right back on .I only had to redrill 2 holes and extend
my shock mounts .
