Blower motor?

Blower motor?
I have an 01 e250 extended work van with a 5.4 v8. Yesterday i turned on the AC and the blower only works on high. It's the same for the vent also. Is my poroblem the switch or the blower motor? Thanks in advance.

There should be a resistor bridge in the heater core case, near the blower motor that probably has an open circuit thereby eliminating the intermediate speeds. I think the blower motor is running just off its relay, direct to battery so to speak.
These are easy enough to remove and inspect, about $20 or so from NAPA etc etc.

Jamn great tip! I was amazed at what I found in mine, but then I live in a heavily treed area and the AC worked better too!

Your welcome! After mine caught on fire, I added window screen netting under the front windshield plastic vents to stop my pine tree needles filling it up....
