Factory rims from a newer truck?

Does anyone know if there is a nice aluminum wheel from a newer f250/350 that fits our old trucks?

Mine is a 79 f350 SRW with a Dana 70 (has a thick spacer between the drum and wheel). Not sure if the Dana 60's have a smaller hub than the 70's?

Kinda wondering if something from a '05 SD might clear the center hub. some of those come with really nice wheels from the factory.

Right now I've got white spoke 16's on it. But i'm wondering if 17's might fit better, it came with 16.5's factory.

Just wondering if anyone has tried it.

Well I am not sure about the dana 70 hubs center width, but the 05 SD wheels will not bolt on because they have the metric 8 X 170 bolt pattern verses our 8 X 6.5 pattern. Now a few people I have talked to have said they drilled out the holes and then the metric wheels will bolt on but I DO NOT reccommend it.

you can get an adapter, but by the time you do that, might as well get aftermarket wheels

The '98 and older trucks share the same bolt pattern as our rigs, so that's an option as well for factory wheels.

FYI 97 and older. There were no 250 or 350 trucks built in 98 just F-150 and F250LD both were the new body style F-150 at the time. SuperDuty trucks came out in 99.
