FACTORY REMOTE START QUESTION

First experience with owning remote start (factory installed) in 2011 Lariat.
Not sure if it is defective or I have not set it up right.

So I park it with the AC on and fan on full speed, so when i start it the vehicle gets cool before i enter.

Then I click the integrated key's lock button, click the remote start twice, and the truck starts and AC is blowing fine, but when I put the key in to start driving, the AC blower stops...I have to manually turn it back on to continue using the AC.

Is there a menu setup feature somewhere where I need to tell the fan how to behave after putting the key in, or is it defective? Help!

Mine does the same, but after about 15 seconds everything reboots and it starts back up.
PS I have a 2011 FX4 with factory remote start
