Recommendations on air filter replacement

2004 F250 CC KR 6.0PSD

Been running OEM filters up to now and due for replacement.

Recommendations and experiences?

Replace with the same motorcraft filter assy. There's none better out there. You can get it for a good price at Home - Diesel Filters,Additives,brake rotors, and brake pads for Chevy, Dodge and Ford Diesel Trucks. Also, there's no need to change until the filter minder indicates it's time. I replaced mine near 95K miles and only because I had it out while doing other maintenance. I probably could have gone well over 100K miles before changing.

Iv got almost 80000 miles on mine and its not at 50% even
I did blow it out with my air compressor once man that got a TON of dirt out It was amazing to see all the dirt that I blew out of it
this is the best oem air filter Iv ever had

I am going to change mine this weekend I found one off a guy for 20bucks brand new in the box blue filter media
It doesnt need it per the filter minder but I want to see if it helps my fuel milage

Make sure the filter element has a blue color to it, it's a waterproofing and there are replacements such as Fram that don't have the treatment. I just replaced mine at 132,000 the gauge was at 3/4

This is VERY important. The white filters don't last NEARLY as long and aren't as cost or mechanically effective as the blue filters.

I agree this is a great place to buy filters. Just recently bought my fuel and oil filters through them. Fast shipping and great prices.

I finally gave in at 65K miles and just replaced mine, it was bugging me. more then likly could have gone another 65k.
