well today I was fixing to load the trailer up to haul a car, the truck was just idling and then it just died no stutter or anything it just crapped out, needless to say I spent the rest of the day working on it and finally was able to try a good IDM in it and it fired right up so now I just need to find an IDM, any suggestions? Which ones will work? Can I use an IDM from a superduty?

You can use any IDM . The latest ones are higher voltage & are preferred . I got one on E Bay for 200 & change ..
any IDM? that is cool, I guess I will check ebay and try to find a 120v unit, it was really inconvenient but I can't complain too much 280k and 14 years on the stock unit isn't too shabby
