oasis report
passed by the dealer today and got an oasis report on my truck. just got it a week ago with 105k on it and 5 years old so i figured any work done to the truck is most likely warranty. it turns out its been to the dealer once for 2 problems an oil leak and replace the hpop. i have a few questions maybe yall can answer
1-this work was done in dec 2009 and says stc replacement. is that late enough to get the upgragded fitting or is this the same one that will go out again?
2-what is pid data test?
3-what is cont test?
4-what is koeo test and koeo injector test?
5 what is a bed plate?

oasis should list the part number installed. varify with that what part was used. pid data is the information showen by the pcm and is used to help detremin what is wrong with the truck. cont test is a test to see what codes are stored aka cmdtc's.
koeo key on engine off.
injector test is a self test of the injectors electrial functions done with a scan tool
bed plate is the lower portion of the main engine block.

PID = Parameter Identification Data.
3-what is cont test?
A cylinder contribution test is a test that monitors the firing strength of all cylinders. In plain English, a test to ensure all cylinders are pulling their weight so to speak.
4-what is koeo test and koeo injector test?
KOEO = Key-On/Engine-Off (as you've already figured out) KOEO On-Demand Self tests checks all circuits to all sensor inputs/outputs. A KOEO Injector test is a test that checks the integrity of all electrical circuits between the FICM and injectors. It DOES NOT pinpoint mechanically faulty injectors.

A bed plate is the lower half of the engine block. It is the main crankshaft support on a 6.0L/6.4L diesel engine.
