49 Panel value?
I know there are tons of variables with this kind of question. Information I have so far. All original except for bucket seats, flathead V8. Parked in garage for 20+ years. Yellow in color, now windows other than the the front and two doors. There are no other windows. I can get it for 5 grand. Don't know if it runs or not. Going to get more info. Here bringing it up so you guys can tell me what to look for. I am going to take pictures of it before I buy it and post them on here. What should I get? VIN? Other things to look for? Seems like a good deal. No rust.

Picture would really help. Check for rot in the rear door hinges, floor, front cab corners, rear side panels around the wheelhouse, lower portion of upper fenders, running boards.
$5k might be a lot from what you describe so far. I bought my 52 about 6 years ago for $5500 and it was 95% original and had a flathead V8. Also bought the 51 a little before the 52 for $7k and it was all original and running.
