I needed to replace all the windows on my 50 F1. I bought all new stuff and went to take the vent windows out. There is some kind of black seal that goes in between the window and the frame holding it in. Any suggestions on what it is so I can get some?
I also need some anti-rattle stuff for the window that rolls down. LMC wants to sell the entire division bar (between the window and the vent window) but I do not need new metal, just the fuzzy stuff that goes in it. I am hoping to get some at a window shop that I am going to try to stop by tomorrow. If I do not have any luck there, anyone else know what I can put in there to keep my window from rattling/scratching?

National Parts Depot 800-521-6104, Dennis-Carpenter.com, Concours Parts 800-722-0009, & MacsAutoParts.com all have window seals and anti-rattle kits/ parts available. You might want to contact each company to assist in locating just the parts you need. I have a copy of each catalog sitting with my Shop Manual for quick reference. If you have enough posts you might want to search the forum for anti-rattle kits. I remember reading a few posts regarding which ones are easier to install and the quality of the parts.
