Question EGR Cleaning ?

I Have cleaned my EGR Valve on the last two oil changes ( about fifth time doing it). How are u guys cleaning out all the crud from the intake?? I've used the shop vac to get as much as I can out. Can/Should I use that sea foam deep creep or would that a big NO NO?? Not sure if that would screw anything else up?? Where would all the crud go??? Thanks Oops its an 06 with 80,000 mi

I would just leave it alone and keep the valve clean, you can get it when you go in to do the oil cooler when that time comes.

Good scrub brush and the shop vac. I really don't think you can do much else, short of pulling the intake out and having it cleaned.

I wouldnt put the deep creep stuff in the intake....its possible to have the motor run away from you if enough fuel (deep creep) is in there. works in gasoline land but diesels would be a bit dangerous.
