Tie rods/ drag link

Hey! New here and don't know how to load pictures but does anyone know how to I.d tie rods or drag links? I have a drag link on a 70s f100 or f150 and it appears to drop about 4 inches kind if an "S" shape to it. It's right in the middle and is 1 solid piece. Thanks

Sounds like a homemade job, normally the drop is in the pitman arm on a lifted truck.
Hope that helps

Nope!! All solid.. Any idea what I can replace them with? It's terribly sketchy to drive! Half turn of slop and turning to the right is about half as sharp as turning left!

Can you take pictures of all the steering linkages (from wheel to wheel) to give a better idea as to how this was done and so we can help you undo that mess!!! where is the steering box located????? Post pictures of it from under the hood. It almost looks like this truck started life as a 2wd truck.

I would probably buy a drop pitman arm and an adjustable drag link.
