power steering puking fluid

my power steering pump is throwing fluid out the top of the reservior. I have it filled to the proper amount. Its a 95 F-150 w/out mass air. I have no idea what could be causing it except maybe the pump is just going.

More likely the steering box - how does it drive? Hit any hard bumps lately?

I offroad alot, plus the road condition around me isn't to great so I have hit alot of bumps.

inside the power steering pump there is a pressure bypass system and if wears out your pump will pressurize and not be able to relieve itself other than out the cap. If it does it continually after you make sure it is not overfilled buy a new pump, they are pretty cheap and wear out. Make sure you COMPLETELY drain your fluid and flush your system or else you will ruin the new one.
