Holley390 -what jets...

I've read several users are running a Holley 390 4bbl on an aftermarket intake. If any of you know and would share what jets you are using, I would appreciate it.

Holley390 -what jets...

Depending on your elevation your particular 300 could use many different jets in your Holley 390. On my 86 F250 (very heavy 4x4) in Florida I have settled on size 53. When I bought the carb off of E-Bay it had size 46 jets and would barely run after idle. The seller had it on an F150 and lived in the mountains of Colorado thus needing it much leaner. As a rule of thumb if you own a holley you also own an assortment of jets, power valves, gaskets, and secondary springs.

Thanks, I just needed to know where to start around here. I doubt/know that ALL of the Holleys I own are TOO BIG for the 300-6 I currently run. As I live in the "foothills", 46's would probably be a bit lean for me too, but knowing approximately where to start will help A LOT! Thanks again.
