DP tuner causing radio interference?

Just installed my DP tuner f5 last week, this thing is awesome! I installed the tuner after my drive home from work my radio was fine on my way home butt after installing the tuner I cannot listen to two radio stations! 99.5 and 96.5 both tuned in perfect every day. Now I can't get either station. All others that I can tell work perfect. The two stations have static and the same type of noise. Almost sounds like it's picking up my injectors or my turbo! Anyone have this problem? I have the basic switcher and it is velcroed to the dash on the right side of the steering wheel. Don't know for sure if the tuner is causing this or what? Also with my tuner on it sounds like it cackles more, is that normal, and does it hurt anything?

You could be getting interference. Can you get the stations with the engine off? I know mine gets 96.5 with no issues here in Washington.

Stock or aftermarket stereo? They used to have these problems years ago, but an upgraded cable has taken care of most of that. Check to make sure you've got a good ground on your radio and to make sure the cable for your switch isn't routed near any radio or speaker wires. Since the switch is on velcro, try re-routing it to the opposite side of the wheel temporarily and see if that changes anything.

Yes the noise is normal. Installing the chip makes it sound like a bunch of bolts came loose and the engine is rattling a bunch more. You won't even notice the difference in a few days.

Thanks for the advice. I have an oem radio. I routed the cable under the dash differently, and kept the switch in the same spot, and the interference seems to have gone away on 96.5. I will know for sure tomorrow when I go to work and I can check 99.5. What luck I have, I only listen to two stations ever and those two seemed to be the only stations effected! Thanks again!

if you connect these at each end of the cable it may help. They helped me with my interference issue.
