Do you guys flush your tranny or just change the fluid in it??? Just wondering as I am thinking about getting my tranny flushed.

It depends.... some say if you have never done it and you have say 150k miles, don't do it as that will cause problems

Some shops will make you sign a release if you've never done a tranny flush and decide to do one at 150K miles .....

(FYI, just had my tranny, and front and rear diffs flushed today...)

1. The drain bolt is higher than the lowest part of the pan.
2. There is a magnet that needs cleaning.

No offense, but you'll never see me fire up the engine when the tranny pan is off. Call be chicken but that's my op.
