Flush manual tranny.

Is it advisable to flush the manual tranny with some seafoam tranny treatment before changing the Mercon that's been in there probably since '96?

I don't see where seafoam would have any noticeable impact on a manual transmission - it seems to be more for automatics where they have a valve body and whatnot - with a manual, it's just gears...

I would think that flushing it with Mercon would be sufficient.

That's what I was thinking but thought I'd ask.
