small hick-up

ok i have a dp tuner and recently installed the 6637 from riffraff! i have a question, the truck runs great and gets pretty good mileage and all but when i hit the gas quick in the 100hp setting on the highway there is small hick-up, like not enough fuel?? just thinkin out loud, also wondering if it could be oil related, hpop? a sensor somewhere? like i said it runs great and if i ease into the throttle it is amazingly responsive and smooth after the filter kit. i get no check engine flash or anything at all.. all thoughts are greatly appreciated!
Thanks guys

Sounds like it could be some turbo lag just depending how much of a pause.

it is a pretty quick miss in power, then starts to go just fine, there is just alittle bump if you will, kinda like no power then power, not like it stalls just a bit slow to respond to the pedal.. sorry to re-explain.. is turbo leg "normal" what can I do to eliminate the turbo causing the issue?

If that is happening in just the one tune I'd call DP. If it happens in all tunes possibly not as pronounced I'd clean the TPS up. At this point I wouldn't think that is your issue. You would need to run some tests with a scanner to substantiate the need.

When you do feel the need to upgrade the HPOP Terminator Engineering would be and is my choice. There are other options out there such as the Dieselsite Adrenaline. The others I don't recall off the top of my head.

I did a crude test of mine years ago before upgrading. I got a hydraulic shop to make a high pressure hose, got a gauge and installed it in one of the HPO lines on the head. I stuck the gauge out the hood at the crowl and just tied the hood down. Went for a ride to see what the gauge was telling about the HPOP.
