Goodmorning all

Hope you have a great day today. One more day until the weekend...WOOHOO!

Saturday is my last night working at the track. There's one more race for this season on Aug. 5th, but I'll be helping out at the Silver Dollar Classics Car Show that weekend, so I won't be able to watch my kids race that weekend.

Guess it's time to start looking for another job.

Goodmorning FTE friends

YEAH....It's Friday finally! The weekend is here & I think I'm going to make the best of it. I gotta find me a gf to hang out with.

I took the kids out to "Cruise Night" at the Carson Mall lastnight without Olfthfl. She's not even close to being ready yet. We're waiting on parts from back east.
There were lots of beautiful cars & trucks though. Damnit...should've gotten pictures! I'll try to remember to bring the camera next time. I'm working the Silver Dollar Classics Car Show this year, so if anyone is coming to check it out or has a entry, let me know. Maybe I'll see you there!

Had a fun filled day today.

Left the doctor's office and on the way home the driver's front tire blew out on the F-150. UGGGHHH...

Of course I didn't have a working spare with me (idiot!), so I had to wait 2 frickin' hours in the heat for the tow truck to show up and tow my truck home. It basically blew out when I came to a stop at a light and it still shredded the heck out of the tire.

Now I'm worried about the other 2 tires (passenger rear was replaced just before I got the truck and is practically new). So, now it looks like I might have to replace 3 of the tires (blown out one and the other 2 that look just as old/used as the one that blew out) to match the newer one. Plus, of course, get a spare as well. I might just get a used tire for the spare. I would use one of the old tires for a spare but they might be too used up and unreliable (hence the blow out today). Plus, they are actually the wrong size (see below).

Three of the tires are the incorrect size (P265/65R17) for my special model truck (Sportsman Edition) and the one newer tire is the correct size (P275/60R17). So, the good point of all this is that if I have to replace those 3 tires, I would be putting them back to the correct size.

Does anyone know how big the difference is between the P265/65R17 and P275/60R17? I mean, I'll probably end up just going with the correct sizing anyway, but I'm just curious how far off they are from each other and/or what the benefit might have been for the person to drop from the original size down to the P265/65R17. I'm wondering if they did it because that's what was available or was it cheaper or what.

Looks like here in Vegas it's going to cost me about $565 for 3 new tires mounted/balanced, out the door. Ya, ouch.... But better than another blow out, right? Especially on the freeway!

Hi everyone.
WOOHOO!...race day here! Time to get everything ready for the kids. I washed my 4Runner & loaded my med bag, backboard, splints, & O2 lastnight so all I have to do today is load the quads/bikes, make sure everyone has all their gear, & pickup the neighbor kid on our way. He'll be racing too!
Hope you all have a great day. I'm off & running...

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm birthday partied out, if that's possible. Think we'll head out to the lake next weekend & relax.

Good evening everyone. Thought I had dodged the battery bullet but my battery will not hold a charge anymore Have to go to the local parts store and get another one. If I'm lucky I'll be able to talk Mike into letting me make payments on an Optima battery If not I'll have to get a cheepy.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a fun weekend.
