Help

Ok, so my brother has a 2004 escape. He hit a cow and cracked the top of the radiator. I replaced it but now the fans turn on immediately and don't turn off. Plus its still getting pretty warm. Like uncomfortably close to H on the temp guage. Any guesses. Im fresh out of ideas so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Did you by chance replace the thermostat when you replaced the radiator? If you did, what temp thermostat did you use, a 192? That's what most auto parts stores show in their computer, but, at least for my 2001, what's really called for is 188 degree thermostat. When I put in a 192, the fans stayed on all the time. If you didn't replace the thermostat than this answer is probably not going to be of any help.
