I took our 93 F-350 5.8L Flatbed Dually out yesterday, and when making a turn I noticed that the indicator light was not flashing when the turn signal was on(turning right or left). Then I put on the four-ways, and only the right one flashed.
So I turned them each on and got out to check the lights, and neither of the front turn signals work, turn on the four-ways and only the right side flashes.
Oh, and both taillights work fine.
Any help would be great.
I don't know much about the turn signal wiring, so please let me know if this is a dumb question...lol
But if it is the switch wouldn't it also effect the taillights?
The taillight circuit doesn't go through it, but the brake lights do.
There's a lot going on in that switch. It controls the turn signals, emergency flashers, and juggles those with the brake lights. It's about the only place where all the various circuits come together.
