Yeah, I'd say it does. The PCM doesn't know what the fuel pressure is, so it won't be available through the OBD port...so your going to have to get a gauge & sender to plumb into the test port of the secondary filter housing. I'm thinking the same goes for EGT...but I don't know that for a fact. I may not be "old school" but I spent the better part of 750k miles watching gauges in a couple of different KW. I don't like idiot lights...I want to see the problem coming before it gets to the point your calling a wrecker. Maybe I can save it before it's too late...just my way of thinking. Gauges that always display the information are what I like. Not exactly sure how a SG2 displays the vitals.

I don't have SGII yet, but plan on getting one. I think I recall reading that it has an alarm that sounds off for any parameters that exceed preset values, i.e. Coolant Temp/Oil Temp alarm, etc... I would like to think that the alarm will sound-off on all values set and not just what you have displayed on the screen, since the screen can only show a limited number of gauges.
