Could you post the part number for the metal tube?

Even with the external BPD oil cooler my EOT gets hotter than ECT
when I use the A/C - not towing on flat hiway.

According to the ext temp sensor it reached 102 last weekend
driving from NC back to FL.

My ECT got up to 197, EOT 211.
As an experiment, I turned off the A/C (for a few minutes)
my EOT dropped back to 200 before I needed to turn it back on.

Since the BPD oil cooler is mounted to the A/C condensor this sounds
normal to me - and my A/C was still (thankfully) nice and cold.

I know they say run empty at 60mph or whatever and get the spread

but I dont buy it if your pulling a load and your spread is out of the 15degree spec its still OUT
LOAD OR NOT you still pushed the spread out

you wont see that big of spread empty

but you will next time you tow and then your playing with fire again

Do I need to do both delete the EGR and oil cooler? Money is alittle tight after vacation and I am trying to prioritize my repairs. How would you guys start?

you have the square egr cooler most upgrade to the BPD egr cooler

EGR Coolers

square have a higher fail rate

study up and decide what works best for you as far as the egr deleate or upgrading the egr cooler

and replace the oil screen under the oil cooler
get a coolant filter on it to if you dont already andclean the cooling system good before you do the coolers
