I recently installed a scanguage 11 and a coolant filter on my 05 six liter and discovered my temp was only reaching 182 so I put in a new thermostat and after road test ect now reaches 192 and eot runs 198 the biggest spread I have seen is 8 Is this okay. Thanks for your reply

 

Yes 8 would be an acceptable range some get a lil more some a lil less.

 

Sounds good to me if you had the engine totally heat saturated, 15 to 20 miles highway, and took your readings cruising at app. 60 to 65 mph.
