June BS thread

Thank God it's Friday! I'm so ready for the weekend.
I'll be stocking at the General Store again tonight & my back has about had it! They had 3 Stockers, but 2 are out on medical leave right now & the other was a no call/no show yesterday. Weekends are my family days, so they need to find someone else to stock for the weekend & I need a chance for my back to recoup. LOL!

I haven't had time to even check on Olfthfl to see how she's coming along.
Have a good weekend!

Happy Friday to you all! It's more job searching for me today. Wooohooo! That and fixing the walls from all the pictures that were on the walls in the house so I can get ready to start painting all the walls in the house next week. I'm sure my back will feel like Donna's next week after I start the painting.

Have a great Saturday. We're not doing much today - I think. Tomorrow though, hubby & I are taking the Harley out for a group ride with friends around Lake Tahoe.
That will be a great ride. The weather is perfect and there is a LOT going on up here.
I didn't make it out to Rattlesnake (again,) still a little uncertain health-wise. Did anyone else go?
How about a little racer's recap of events Michelle?

Did they have any entries in the open wheel 318 class? I am really interested in that.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts

Hope you had a blessed Sunday.
We took the kids to the sitter & we met up with 4 others motorcyclists on Harleys. We took off from Carson City, NV., went through Genoa & up Kingsbury Grade. Went all the way around Lake Tahoe, stopped for lunch, then came down Kingsbury grade & stopped off at the Genoa bar before heading back to Carson City. What a awesome day for a ride!
Planning on another ride next Saturday. If anyone has a bike that wants to join us, let me know. I think we're all meeting at the Carl's Jr. (Gottschalks Mall) in Carson City at 11am & taking off from there. The more the merrier!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Looks like I'm getting ready to paint the whole inside of the house starting this week.
I know I'm gonna be sore as heck! Not really looking forward to this, but sometimes you do what you've gotta do. I have approximately 2,000 sqft to paint. My gosh paint is expensive as heck! Last time I remember painting it was like friggin $15/gallon. Now it's $30/gallon.
It's going to cost me like $265 just in paint alone and I was planning on buying a Ryobi power roller to make the job easier and that's another $100. Can you say "ouch"?But if this helps with the sale of the house, then I guess it's all worth it, eh?
Anyway, I'll try and drop in now and again to tell everyone how it's going. We already have the house pretty much torn apart and started even packing some things.
Actaully Bruce we didn't end up racing, the crew chief was unable to make it due to some family issues. The 318's race regularly, normally about 4-6 cars, they call them 'rat mods' at our track, the rules are a little looser than for the 318 class. Hope you're feeling better!

Feeling some better, for the moment. Thanks!
