The Mid-Fifty catalog shows a turn as well, and refers to them as both lefts.

I said I BELIEVE they are original, that is just my opinion.

2) BD-17527-A .. Wiper Arm-11.12" long / R/L is the same / Obsolete
Applications: 1953/55 all trucks / 1952/54 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars / 1952/55 Lincoln.
Wrap around windshields introduced in: 1955 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars, 1956 Ford trucks and Lincoln's.
That should come as no surprise, when you consider that the originals were made in the US of A, while the re-makes are made in China.

Bill,
Mine is a 50 F-2 single wiper. I have this little flimsy arm and looks like an old VW blade. What can I use? I want something that will do the job with a real wiper blade.

1948/52 all trucks except Parcel Delivery:
1C-17526 .. Wiper Arm / 10" long, has 2 3/4" long coil spring.
Carpenter has this arm listed on page 51 of his 1948/56 truck repro catalog for $15.00.
There is only 1 NOS original available. Green Sales Co. in Cincinnati OH has it: 800-543-4959.

I have my originals but purchased some new ones which looked great but as mentioned above they were flimsy; so flimsy that they wouldn't wipe the windshield clean. I went to Carquest and brought some which has the strong spring and works great. They are stainless but not polished. I also get my replacement blades from them, Trico classic 33-122.

I don't have the part# for the arms, I just went to the counter and ask for arm for a 1955 F-100, they went in the back and came back with the arms & blades. I only have the blade number because I just replaced them last week and kept the package. The carquest near me has a wearhouse in the back so they didn't have to order the part.
