NP.

I'm running Amsoil 15-40 and it did start easier in the cold. I'm sure going with a lighter weight oil or a good synthetic will help.

I'm running 10k change intervals, BTW.

I think I paid $140 ish for a filter and 4 gallons of it.

I am planning on becoming an AMSOIL dealer this spring, but just to supply myself and friends. No store or anything like that. I use either Mobil 1 or Amsoil in everything, and its cheaper to become a dealer in the long run.

Mannaged to find my oil recipt.... it was $141 for 4 gallons of Amsoil 15-40 CJ-4, and $12 for a Napa Gold (WIX) Filter.

So 3 Dino Oil changes worth of oil for the cost of 2 oil changes.

will you bring it back when you are done with it ? Are you have trouble finding your heater cord? Many guys will plug them in a time or two and then really find out that they do not need the oil heated up. Make sure that your GPR is in good working order and that all of your glow plugs are fine. If you do plug it in, use a heavy enough cord and use a timer that will come on about two hours before you need the truck.
