Vic- Probably when the E4OD dies. It doesn't have any problems that I have noticed. I can't afford to replace it any time soon, anyway.

This morning I drove the truck into work and NO SMOKE!! Yay, I can keep it where it is for now. I just hope my MPG doesn't go down from turning it up a little.

This morning it was 59F out and the truck started but it smoked and stumbled if I didn't keep it off idle. No, I don't have a high idle solenoid. Maybe that's why.

I started replacing injectors today and looking for some clarity, the new delphi injectors have copper washers on the tips that are not removable. Are these whats being refered to to put greese on. Also should I but anything on the O-rings to help them seal better. I put these injectors in and now wondering if I should remove them and add copper washers.

Most the time when I am replacing O-rings I just use a little diesel fuel, not like thats not what its gonna be around....diesel is a good lube, good cleaner, good fuel...and excellent firestarter lol.

There should be copper washers around the tips. My new injectors have them and most injectors I've seen have them. Also we use vasoline to lube o-rings for installation at work
