Adventures in water crossing

Sorry for the low quality pictures, I only had my old phone on me today when I stumbled upon this mishap.

Nope, but I wouldn't blame them either. It sure didn't look like that last night when they tried to cross, but the road washed out underneath them.

Wow, I would prob have tried to cross too, I've driven through a hell of amount of water with the work truck this year.

Too bad they got pushed off like that.

Also on a side note, I hope ur property fairs well with the flood.

Water is a force to be reckoned with:

Can you find that red truck now?

Dan look close your seeing the side of the truck. Look at the bed side, you can see the pocket hole on the right side, and look further up and see the cab covered with weeds or whatever it is. Basically it's not sitting nose down, it's sitting on it's drivers side.

Still pretty deep considering the left side of the cab is under water, probably what? 7ft or so?

oh I don't know, I see there is no windows but the original pics show the windows are down or broken. I think it's just the combination of the angle of the truck and the natural angle of the cab sides above the main body line.

I am sure it''s been beat to heck tho

Wow.. That actually happened to a friend of mine when Douglasville flooded back in '09. He nearly drowned. Thankfully, he was able to crawl out of the truck and onto the roof..

On an almost reminiscent thought, my 4WD did see alot of use during the flood.. Mainly pulling people out, and crossing shallow water.

Hopefully these guys got out of there alright.
