F150-need suggestions
I have a red F150 Fx4 extnded cab that i took to the mechanic because of severe shaking on the road, and found out the engine dropped a valve and ruined my engine at 96,000miles. Should I sell with a bad engine how much could I expect to get out of it. I got an offer on it, but just want to know

A few days back one of the members came in about his neighbors truck that dropped a valve.

Additionally, some more info about your truck would help.
Year. Trim. If it's an '04 is it the newer body style, or the same body from the '03 year which is called a "Heritage"
Anything you can lend is helpful to everyone here.

was an 04 Fx4 power windows seats, a 6cd changer, and was not an heritage, but the spark plugs are bad as well because they break when u remove them. Any information would be helpful. If ya need more info let me know

Is the truck paid off? Is there anything else wrong with the truck? Have you priced out a replacement engine? You will need to decide if the truck is worth (paying cash) or a small loan for a new engine or going out financing a new or newer truck.
