how do you know they are not working?

Remember with the factory TBC the trailer is completely integrated into the abs system.

There really should not be any jerking going on.

What you can do is get someone to step on the brakes. Then you go out to each wheel of the trailer. You should be able to hear a buzzing at the wheel, confirming that there is power going to the magnets.

only thing I know to do right now is check the plug. Check for power when you apply the brakes. Also check the fuses

well it could be the TBC itself.

I would probably see what it would cost to put on the computer or maybe you have warranty left. TBC itself is easy to replace but I would check it first.

So no warnings? When hooked up does it show that a trailer is connected?

you could check the connections behind the controller as well. At least make sure it is all nice and tight.

Module is a bit pricey if you have to buy it.

Integrated brake
08-10 $372.87 $268.46

That is from www.partsguyed.com

If you have warranty left on the bumper to bumper I'd take it in and have them diagnose and repair. May need to have a trailer hooked up for the SA to see.
