Just the regular ol' totinos pizza rolls. I try to visit almost every day. Just don't always post Wes. Always checking to see if anyone has put in a submission to join the Kentucky group

Good morning everyone!
This is indeed first day of summer at 1316 EST.
The longest day of the year and for those that have sunshine, will have the most sun of the year.
Have a great day!!

Well Wes that is a good question.... The biggest reason is member involvement. Plain and simple we just don't have consistent involvement over the past 6 years from members. Kentucky has a core group who posts all the time and sadly that number is about 3-4 members. Every once in a while someone starts to posts and gets all gung-ho and then a month or two later you never hear from them again.
I don't know if it is they don't like the site, get a different vehicle or if they have either died or moved away.
I Have had a meet in Lexington before and have offered to go anywhere in the state to have a meet as long as the schedules don't conflict. I have even gone so far as to tell members to have a mini-meet in their area just to try and get interest peaked....
The answer is this- meets have been Lexington-2005, Burlington-2008, Carrolton-2009, Burlington-2010. Personally to me this sucks. But I know I am not alone in this feeling amongst State chapter leaders. I actually went to some Ohio meets before. One meet we had about 15 people saying they were going to come. Members who showed up to it.... Me and Ray the Ohio chapter leader.
So I don't know if it is the economy or people don't care. SHoot I have been unemployed since 12/31/2008 BUt yet I still try to participate and do things with and for our group.
Any suggestions are taking seriously so please go ahead and submit them.

I figured it was something along those lines...Wasn't sure, although, I'd be appreciative if the core members from EVERY state chapter would check out my thread for a FTE Rescue/Emergency squad....In case someone breaks down, get stuck, stranded, etc....

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ency-line.html

Also, just give me a holler.....I'm game for going from Pikeville, to lexington for a meet....I know that I would be willing to go, Country705(John) would, after his foot heals back up.....Maybe Mountain Doc....I can rustle up a few people..maybe 4-5...Maybe more...

You all know that I am always up for a meet! By the way, the Bourbon house in Burlington closed up (John and Ryan know the place). As far as the FTE rescue/ emergency squad idea.... I like it. Recently a fellow FTE member who frequents the IDI forum was broke down near cleveland. His family ended up coming from one of the northeastern states to get him. Would have been nice if there had been a way to get him help from some members in that area.

They have a site amongst the 7.3 PSD guys. I'm actually a member, but I don't know how to access it. As for a get together, I'm game.

The Bourbon House is closed! Wonder if it was the smoking ban that got them.
