Tranny was rebuilt at 116,000 miles when I bought the truck. It now has 349,000 miles on it. I was told buy the guys that rebuilt it that given the weight of my truck, it likely won't last beyond 100,000 miles. Well, 230,000 miles later, it needs it again.

great mileage on it John. So it went out. I'm heading over to NKU in a lil while ti turn in some immunization paperwork ad pick up my wife's lil sister from nursing camp there.

Pulled the tranny out today and tore it down. There was some major carnage in there. Travis, the guy rebuilding it for me, asked if I was entering it in tractor pulls! Need a lot more parts than a rebuild kit. Will have it all by friday and hopefully back on the road this weekend.

Well yall tomorrow is friday and the start to the 4th of july weekend. I hope all of you have a safe one and enjoy it.
