KY Chat thread

Hows everyone doing today?

CampSpringsJohn 05-17-2011 10:28 AM

Doin' OK. No work today, at least not now. That can change any second though. Need to go buy a washing machine. The old one sprung a leak in the tank. Considering a front loader, but they are really expensive compared to the top loaders. We have one already, but my wife doesn't like me to wash my work clothes in it. She prefers I have a separate washer for them. I get real dirty/greasy with my work.

Go to a used dealer...you can snag a whirlpool, Kenmore, etc for like $100 or less, and get LOTS of service...

UGH...It's raining and friggin' cold over here in Salyersville...Bad day to run outta petrol...:-arrgh

IB Tim 05-18-2011 08:45 AM

morning all ....

SideWinder4.9l 05-18-2011 08:47 AM

Mornin' there Tim, everyone....UGH the rains subsided somewhat....

CampSpringsJohn 05-18-2011 08:58 AM

Still raining here. Freakin yard looks like a hayfield. My sons ballgames have been canceled. He'll be playing into August with all the makeup games. So much for an 8 week season. And no work again today.

Is that bad? Most would consider that a blessing...;)

Now if we could just get the winds to stop

I judge wind by how much debating is going on in Washington D.C at the time...;)

My yard looks like a hay field and my hay fields are beginning to look like jungles. It's cold. It's wet. And I expect Dracula to come walking out of the woods here any second. But I did get my manual steering rack bolted on my MII last night. Never mind that it's toed out 3 inches. LOL I'll fix it.

That kind of toe-out would make driving quite fun! Not to mention the tire wear!

SideWinder4.9l 05-18-2011 05:31 PM

Those tires' toe-in/out sounds like the Wal-Mart door greeters' eyes.....One going one way, the other, another way.....

I am so glad the rain has subsided....For 5 minutes...lol

SideWinder4.9l 05-18-2011 11:48 PM

UGH.....I am honestly at a loss as to what to do from here on out....:'(

IB Tim 05-19-2011 10:40 AM

...yea...and we got some

CampSpringsJohn 05-19-2011 08:11 PM

Worked today in Corydon, In. Tomorrow I'm headed to Harlan, Ky. Some of you guys know where that is. In fact, if you have ever been there, and you know where Worldwide Equipment used to have a parts only store, I will be working in the garage that is part of that building. Mountaindoc aint too far from there.
