I may be willing to part with my Navigation unit from my 2011 F350
I would rather have a Kenwood like I used to with better ipod controls. I won't tear anything out but the deck though so if anyone wants that let me know.
Even though I don't need it at all, (I just wanted the diesel) I wish I would have gotten the 350 instead of the 250. I plan on keeping this one for years, but if I order another, I will definitely do the 350 next time. The "look" of the 350 is great (even without a lift) and I agree with another poster who doesn't like to waste syllables explaining what it is. I also did a crew-cab and a long bed. I was initially concerned I had made a poor decision going with the long bed, but so far, I haven't really been in a cramped situation where I wished I had the short bed (yet).
I went with an absolutely loaded Lariat (every option including the transmission PTO), and I am incredibly glad I did. I like the KR trim, but I can't stand the notion of a paint scheme that isn't monochrome. I am still thinking about ordering the ready-to-paint grill surround and having it painted to match the tri-metallic white. I really do not like the abundance of chrome. I don't really like the chrome caps on the mirrors, and I am less than pleased with the chrome finish on the factory steps. I am concerned about the longevity of it.
I also go back & forth on the factory Nav. I find it more convenient when I am in a hurry, but I do like the ease of use and the features of Co-Pilot Live on my Android tablet.
The interior continues to impress me. I think they really did it up right, and as a prior GM guy to the core, I am glad I switched sides.
But - It was a run-off between white & UPS brown - White made the most sense but I still think the UPS brown is really great looking & although pretty colors are hard to keep clean - they really look great when cleaned up - white - well... it just looks white...
Dog likes that it's not 150° inside after work though - before the A/C cools it...
Should have gone with the 18's or 20's but I just figured more money in tires - they do look better though..
Been driving 250's for years - but maybe should have got the 350 'cause the Skid steer & trailer & fuel & Attachments pretty much keeps me overloaded by Fords standards -(even though the truck doesn't know it..)

Someone here tried to put a navigation in a truck that didn't come with it and it was a disaster.

It was Lexus and I think he still twitches when you say the word Nav. In fact, I think I saw he tried to commit truck suicide on another thread by drowning his truck. I think there is a lot of wiring that needs to be worked through and he had a lot of profesional help with it and still couldn't get it to work.
My only regret is that I didn't get to put the first 20000 miles on my truck!Bought a used one from the U.S. This truck is just awesome. I've had it 2 months and I still get a huge smile on my face everytime I drive it!
Well, first off, I DID go with the 350 vs the 250 (plus 600 bucks, how do you not?). Lariat looooaaaddded...all the nice things including keeping my butt cool.
I WISH I had the 5th wheel installed at the stealership, BUT I will add it on my own and save some change.
I like the NAV quite alot. I have only had one or two issues with the learning curve trying to use the Sync commands.
I like the lockpic idea...something to look into.
No doubts need bed coated, but that is a simple fix at my local guys shop. I will probably upgrade tire size later...but that is really a non issue in my book. The 350 looks fine without huge tires.
I cannot fit into my standard garage. not sure if it is the stiffer springs from the camper package or the 4wd stuff, but sumbitch wont fit.
So, all said, the ONLY thing I regret is not having a taller garage door. LOL

Is it the door that's the problem or the opening? I had to adjust my door so that it raised up further so that it is pasts the opening in the garage. My antenna still scrapes on the way in and I have about 2" of clearance. I believe my opening is 84" tall.

I went thru all the things I wanted in a new truck. I towed with an F250, Super cab, Short Box for 5 years and I knew just what I wanted. I got an F350, Crew Cab, Short Box, I did not want any regrets and I have none. I would like Upfitter switches but can put them in any time for about what they would cost when I ordered my truck. I also got a Lariat, my XLT was nice but not nearly as nice as the Lariat.... Mine came with the chrome steps, that I did not order, dealer removed them and put the aircraft aluminum steps I ordered off the web.
This is why I am ordering my truck, if i'm spending that kind of $, i want exactily what I want, nothing less
Yup, unlike cars and SUVs, they're are so many variations among same model trucks that I almost always have to custom order when it's time for a new one.
