I was reading the post and looked at the avatar and said to myself, "I saw that truck the other day". then noticed you are in IL LOL.

Gavin, good luck on the new radio install. I really wish I had the Nav just to have it, but having an iPhone is all you really need.

I also wish I had the cab lights but when I bought my rig, there were only a few within a few hours driving distance and I actually did not think I was going to drive one home. I don't like to wait otherwise I would have ordered a black KR with the black KR interior. I love my heated and cooled seats. Amazing.

I'm with P.I.T.S. about the 250-350 thing. I guess if there is anything that I regret, it's that. The only problem with the 350 is that it would not have fit in the garage. I would have had to spend more money and install the 250 rear spring blocks to get it in there. The only options I didn't get are nav, moonroof and cab lights.

I do however wish I had gotten the 20" wheels instead of the 18" Lariat wheels

Mine is perfect, I ordered as it is the last one I'll have. Everything except a sunroof, including the cable lock. I think the navi is worth the money, synch is soso I could not for the life of me get it to go to SFO airport the other day. I have to say I have very little synch experience. Had to have a POI on the airport and there were no choices. I asked for departures, nope, arrivals, nope, terminal, nope, in 10 years Microsoft will be like Admiral or RCA or Zenith.

My truck is going to be used to pull my 34 ft camper, if I am on the highway and need to look for something - I dont want to pull over and stop to use it. I went with a garmin - I can use it while in motion - and works great. Plus it's portable. I/M/H/O
+1
A Garmin or Magellan are much cheaper that the nav option. I have Sync but not voice control. Had trouble talking to OnStar when I wanted to dial a number and I would guess I would get just as frustrated with sync.

Mine wanted the Lariat also, she had a 98 F150 Lariat and has missed it ever since I totaled it. Wives are very persuasive...

The only thing that would have kept my 350 out of the garage would have been 20" rims. I have a standard 7' door and I have no problems..

Bought mine in April.......only regret is I didn't get one sooner. If I would have know I loved it this much I would have lol. No nav for me....have a nice Garmin that I never use anyway. I wanted the rapid heat & door opener and didn't get it. But I got the only Red black leather FX4 in driving distance with everything else I wanted so...still very happy

My regrets:
1. Should have spent the extra on a DRW. I have no need for one but they look simply awesome. They sit perfect an the fender flares add a huge element of toughness. Wife hates the look of a dually though and dang thing won't even fit in our suburban driveway.
2. Supp heater. Didn't even know it was an option. Had I known, I might have ordered or looked around more before buying.
3. FX4 pkg. I didn't get it and even though I have skid plates, I am thinking the rancho shocks are probably better.

Other than that, the truck is great! I'll probably trade in on a dually once it's paid off andbte kids are bigger and I won't have to worry about drive throughs. Meaning, not being able to go through them is a pain because taking kids in and out of car seats is no fun.

What have you guys, wish that you "Should" have gotten and didn't.

I wish I could have afforded the Lariet model . . . .(I got the 2011 F350 XLE?). It Lariet was expensive and really not available when searching for the truck I wanted. As it was the dealer had to go to upstate NY to get my truck.

I like the layout of the Lariet, but I don't think that the Nav system is all that great. To navigate I use a combination of Streets and Trips and James (my Garmin nuvi 1300).

I will look and see if I can update my XLE dash layout.

We got a great truck. You can't regreat anything about that.

I should have gotten an F350, otherwise, the cab marker lights would have been nice. Everything else is great.

Got the 250 but like the looks of the 350 better. The 350 is too tall to fit in the garage so I did the right thing there. I have no need for anything more than a 250 anyway. Wish the truck hadn't come with heavy service front suspension because it rides slightly worse than the ones without it. Got the roof lights which look great, but missing upfitter switches and home remote. If I needed to add these options later they are probably the 2 of the easiest options to add as they are both direct plug ins requiring no modification. I've never needed the upfitter switches to date and have a portable home remote which is more reliable than the factory unit was on the last truck. I do have everything else though, Lariat Ultimate, Rapid Heat, FX4, 3.55 ELD, Chrome Pkg, 20" OWL, Rubber Floor Mats, Splash Guards, etc., so overall I'm happy with it.

I would like to have the upfitter switches more expensive to put them in now but if I do need them I will get them. The garage door opener is way over priced and I got two with my opener, good enough for me....
