The upfitter switches ordered from partsguyed or silverstate are fairly close in price to what the original option would have stickered for. The sunvisor with homelink is a different story. It's about double, and it was too expensive for what it is to start with. Both easy to install should there be a need in the future.

Got the fully loaded KR.

If there's an option that's not on it, I don't miss it!

I wish I had been more picky in finding one WITHOUT the chrome and camper packages, it has enough chrome already and now that I have it I like the 20's way more. The 18's make what is a fully loaded truck look cheap.

I purposefully did not order the visor with the Homelink. My neighbor had the "built in garage door opener" in his car and one of the "techs" from the local quicky oil change places used a learning remote to clone his garage door frequency (even though it was a rolling code model) and since he had my neighbor's address on the paperwork, came over and helped himself to a bunch of tools. Even stole his riding mower. Cops busted him when he tried to pawn some of the stuff and he confessed that is how he did it. He had also done it to several other homes previously. Cops said it is pretty common. Easier than making a spare key off your keyring.

I don't take my garage remotes (or anything of value) in when I get serviced and only give them the one ignition key and no remote fob. I also try to never give them an actual address, only a p.o. box for their records or on my registration etc.

I also have a small video camera that looks like a ball point pen that records for hours in the console and it takes nice candid views of anyone "fishing" through my stuff.

Really no regrets on mine, except I wish it had come with the Ford/Reese 5th wheel hitch. I don't have a 5th wheel trailer yet, so it's no big deal.

The supplemental cab heat would have been a nice, though rarely used, feature.

My previous Super Duty was an F-250 so I'd already made that mistake. Got to have the F-350 for a toy hauler 5th wheel!

(Tongue-in-cheek) Oh, wish I could have gotten the V-10 cuz it's the perfect engine for everything...

I hear the new gasser has very similar power rating than the V-10?? Maybe one of those will work for ya? JK

The only regret, if you want to call it that, is that mine came with the front buckets/console instead of the bench. But it works fine.

My choices were limited specifically because I didn't want the buckets/console. I can see times when needing to carry six people will come in handy.

For example, me, the wife, two kids and the in-laws. Hmm, maybe I should have got the buckets....

I coulda got the stock nav unit but decided there were other toys the $1800 could be used for. BTW I just bought the 7 inch Magellan 9055 Roadmate. It actually sticks to the front cupholder door in my center seat model F250. It also has provisions for an AV input so an additional back up camera can be installed. All for the sum of 279.95

That's makes sense! (ha ha) My choices were also limited. There was only 1 bench available in the state at the time, but was about $2,000. more than the one I ended up getting. I wanted the bench cause I have 4 kids, although it is rare when all six of us go somewhere together.

'AWESOME' truck. My only regret, having a bench front seat. Would have loved an option for bucket seats and a center console.

I had the 6 person seating in my 06 and only found maybe 3 or 4 occasions that I actually needed it. Most of the time that I need more than 5 it seems like I need 7. When I looked at the new center seat option and it's very limited "console" storage space, I knew I wouldn't be as happy with it as I was in the 06. So far I am more than happy with the buckets and full console. My brother has the seat option so it's not like I don't know what I'm missing out on. He on the other hand is very aware of his lack of AC outlet and rear vents!

Gavin, good luck on the new radio install. I really wish I had the Nav just to have it, but having an iPhone is all you really need.

I also wish I had the cab lights but when I bought my rig, there were only a few within a few hours driving distance and I actually did not think I was going to drive one home. I don't like to wait otherwise I would have ordered a black KR with the black KR interior. I love my heated and cooled seats. Amazing.
I got the nav to working last night. The wire I needed was the in the customer access bundle, same place as SEIC wires, above the parking brake. It was the violet /orange wire. The nav works great except for one thing, now that it knows how fast the vehicle is going, you can't enter any address information for your destination unless the vehicle is stopped. That really ticked off my navigator, I had to 'splain to her why it's a good thing.

My truck is going to be used to pull my 34 ft camper, if I am on the highway and need to look for something - I dont want to pull over and stop to use it. I went with a garmin - I can use it while in motion - and works great. Plus it's portable. I/M/H/O
I have an 09 with navigation/sync and from the factory you can't look up an address while driving also. I purchased a lockpik for the nav unit and now I can work the nav unit while in motion, not to mention having my kids watch movies while on long trips.
