Drive it and see how the Auto tranny feels. If it needs a rebuild, you will be into a whole lot more money (might as well get a built tranny at that point, depending on your planned usage).
Hey guys, it mentions ball joints, is that the total front end rebuild I here of? Luckily I bought my truck from a very trusting friend and the front end had just been rebuilt.
My truck is the same deal except for the auto tranny (thank god).
Mine cost me much more than 4500 but I know its history and it has much less miles on the clock. Good luck and happy hunting
It's a given for sure and I even thought of 5" for the hell of it.. Where did you get 3.5"? Custom? Dumping before the axle?

For the poster- I would check it out good. As for the flywheel I would have a pre purchase inspection done by a good mechanic. In under an hour you could know for sure if the flexplate is bad or if it just needs a starter. Shoot with a 3/8th wrench and a large screw driver you could check in the parking lot.
There seems to be a lot of older 6 cylinder turbo diesel trucks around here that are straight piped. Does it sound like the other brand? What does the V8 sound like? In and out of the cab? ty
