Doghouse was hitting the top of the valve covers on the "rare" 302
So I had to raise it a couple of inches

Nice progress. It is going to look amazing, you're doing some nice work to tie it all together.
Brian
P.S. don't think I've ever seen one of those "rare" 302's before!

My hat is off to you, I had to work outside in the gravel at my last house so I know how much harder it makes things. You are doing some very nice work despite the adversity. If it comes out any thing like the photo shop rendering, its going to be a bad *** ride. Keep up the good work, its goin to be worth it.

Seth I have been following your thread on the HAMB. I haven't joined, just stalking.
Yeah the rare 302 is bored like .008 thousandths right? to like 305 or stroked to like 350.01 cubes?
Not news to me, but pretty awesome. Nice to have a friend like Jack too!

Yes,I am definitely having fun with this.
Its my first ground up,modify everything project.
I already have a couple more projects waiting,1 being a 56 dodge shorty school bus,But I might cut the dodge part and make it a 51 ford COE front end.

Thanks Brian,You been cheering me up for a while.
I think Ford only produced a couple of those 302s.

Thank you Jim.
It is tough working on gravel and heat but I have no other choice for now.
Im hoping that this COE turns as nice as the Photoshop too.
I admire you for tacking a project like your truck despite your condition.
You made that truck proud,,its beautiful.

The hamb thread is a lil bit dirty,so I kept it clean on this site.
I didnt want to update this thread at first because I didnt know how much interest ford guys had on my "blacksided" COE.
Jack is a good friend and that's all I have to say about that..
Your Truck is turning great too.
Thnks Jeff.

Seth, I guess I have it traded for a 53 F100 in Atlanta, got it loaded now to take it down for the trade, leaving Thursday for the trip. We'll see how this trade goes, Garry.

Hey flattie - just been busy with life... so it goes. The only thing I've gotten done since Christmas has been to pull out the cracked rear window out of my '49. Pretty lame, eh?! BUT... hopefully I should be more active in the near future as I anticipate a little more free time this summer. We'll see.

Till then I'm just going to have to be satisfied by following the progress of you guys who actually work on their trucks!
